This is the first piece on the new site — a placeholder that will soon be replaced by real writing.

The design is intentionally quiet: warm paper-like backgrounds, an earthy accent, and type chosen for long, comfortable reading. Everything is built so that future essays and poems inherit the same calm, consistent feel.
